Comparison review
Galaxy View 2 has a global score of 65.3, which is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's general score of 62.3. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, the Galaxy View 2 is a much heavier and thicker portable tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy View 2 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version, offering lots of additional features and performance enhancements.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly better resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy View 2, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 takes way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy View 2. Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a much longer battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 12000mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy View 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, letting go some features and specs.
