Galaxy View 2 is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a score of 65.3 against 60.8. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy View 2 has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2. The Galaxy View 2 construction is way newer than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's, although it's notably thicker and a lot heavier.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a quite better resolution of 1200 x 1920px. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Galaxy View 2 has a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy View 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy View 2 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up some features and specifications.
