Comparison review
Galaxy View 2 has a general score of 65.3, which is better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 score. Galaxy View 2's body is a lot newer, but a lot thicker and notably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy View 2 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it provides you some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a better display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores.
Galaxy View 2 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy View 2 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much better camera than Galaxy View 2.
The Galaxy View 2 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 100 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy View 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, giving up a couple features and specifications.
