Comparison review
The Acer Predator 8 has an overall score of 57.7, which is a little bit better than Sony Tablet P's 55.7 general score. Acer Predator 8 is a notably newer tablet, and it's also just a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than the Sony Tablet P. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Acer Predator 8 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, counting with a couple nice extra features.
Acer Predator 8 has a little bit better screen than Sony Tablet P, because it has a way bigger screen, a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a better display density. The Acer Predator 8 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Acer Predator 8 counts with a better processing power than Sony Tablet P, because it has more cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Acer Predator 8 counts with a much better battery performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has 4420mAh of battery capacity. Acer Predator 8 features a little bit better camera than Sony Tablet P. They have a same resolution back camera.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Tablet P, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Tablet P. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Sony Tablet P, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
