Comparison review

The Sony Tablet P has a score of 55.7, which is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HD 7's 53.9 global score. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Tablet P has the older 4.0.3 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Sony Tablet P is a older, incredibly thicker and a little heavier portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 7.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 has a more vivid screen than Sony Tablet P, because it has a much better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a bigger screen and a little greater pixels quantity per display inch. The Amazon Fire HD 7 has just a little better hardware performance than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also has more processing cores.

Sony Tablet P captures much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Tablet P also has a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels. The Sony Tablet P has a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 32 GB.

Sony Tablet P has a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 7.

The Sony Tablet P costs a bit more than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
