Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a global score of 59.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 general score. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) design is a lot newer, just a little bit lighter and way thinner than the Sony Tablet P. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a superior processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because it has 2 more cores and a larger amount of RAM.
