Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than Sony Tablet P, with a overall score of 66.7 against 55.7. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a newer and noticeably thinner portable tablet than the Sony Tablet P, although it is also extremely heavier. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS, and Sony Tablet P comes with Android 4.0.3 OS.
The Sony Tablet P features a little more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a much lower 480 x 1024px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Tablet P, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a better processing power than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 1 GB more RAM memory and a graphics processor. Samsung Ativ Tab features a superior battery performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 166 percent larger battery size.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features just a bit better camera than Sony Tablet P. Both have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video definition and the same resolution camera.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Tablet P, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Tablet P. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Tablet P, resigning some features and specs.
