Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than Sony Tablet P, with a 66.3 score against 55.7. Even though the Galaxy Note 10.1 is noticeably heavier than the Sony Tablet P, it's notably thinner and newer. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3.

Galaxy Note 10.1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM. Sony Tablet P has a slightly better display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen and a way worse 480 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of display.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 60 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a much better battery lifetime than Sony Tablet P, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.

The Sony Tablet P has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same video quality, the same resolution back camera and the same video frame rates.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 costs a lot more than Sony Tablet P, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
