Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Sony Tablet P's general score of 55.7. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a newer 4.0.4 version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3, so it provides you a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Sony Tablet P were released with only 1 months difference, Galaxy Tab 10.1's body is incredibly heavier but much thinner than Sony Tablet P.

Sony Tablet P has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1. They have a Dual-Core CPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit better screen than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a much worse number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a really larger display and a lot better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 3 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a way higher video resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a superior battery performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Tablet P, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Tablet P. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Tablet P, letting go a couple features and specifications.
