Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a global score of 65, which is better than the Sony Tablet P's overall score of 55.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) body is newer and incredibly thinner, but also heavier than the Sony Tablet P. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has newer 4.1 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3, so it offers a couple nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit superior processing unit than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has an additional graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a little bit better screen than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a way lower pixels density, it also counts with a much larger screen and a way better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

The Sony Tablet P counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Tablet P also has a much higher resolution back facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a much better memory for applications and games than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has 16 GB internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a really longer battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) costs more money than the Sony Tablet P, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
