The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a global score of 66.5, which is much better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 general score. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a incredibly newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and notably thinner than Sony Tablet P. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, counting with a couple additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit sharper display than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger display and a little higher 600 x 1024 resolution. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet P, because it has 12 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a superior hardware performance than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have 2 cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Tablet P captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a way better resolution camera.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has superior battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3080mAh.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 costs a little more than the Sony Tablet P, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
