Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has an overall score of 67.8, which is much better than the Sony Tablet P's score of 55.7. Both tablets we compare here use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has newer 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3. Although Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is extremely heavier than the Sony Tablet P, it's much thinner and also a lot newer.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a little more vivid display than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a way lower count of pixels in each display inch, it also counts with a way better 800 x 1280px resolution and a lot bigger screen. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has much more memory for apps and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB and 16 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a bit superior processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory, an additional graphics processor and a higher number of cores (and faster). Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Sony Tablet P, although it has a worse (HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a much lower 3 mega-pixels resolution.
