The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66, which is better than Sony Tablet P's 55.7 score. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a a lot newer tablet, and it's also somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than the Sony Tablet P.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a slightly better screen than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels number in each screen inch, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1280 x 800px and a really bigger display.
