Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way better than the Sony Tablet P, getting a general score of 74.5 against 55.7. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, giving a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 construction is a lot newer and extremely thinner than the Sony Tablet P's, but it is incredibly heavier.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a better performing processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory.
