Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way better than the Sony Tablet P, getting a general score of 74.5 against 55.7. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, giving a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 construction is a lot newer and extremely thinner than the Sony Tablet P's, but it is incredibly heavier.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a better performing processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Tablet P and the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 count with similar displays, although the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a way bigger display, a lot better 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit better pixels density.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a very superior camera than Sony Tablet P, because it has a lot better video definition and a camera in the back with lot more megapixels. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet P, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 400 GB and 32 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a way better battery life than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 137 percent more battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a lot more expensive than the Sony Tablet P, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
