The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a score of 60.4, which is just a bit better than the Sony Tablet P's score of 55.7. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is a a lot newer device, and it is also lighter and extremely thinner than Sony Tablet P.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features just a little better processing power than Sony Tablet P, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Tablet P has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it has a way lower resolution of 480 x 1024, a really smaller screen and a just a bit worse pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has 4 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 200 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has superior battery life than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 30 percent greater battery size.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much better camera than Sony Tablet P. Both of them have the same resolution camera, the same video definition and the same video frame rates.
