Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 60.1, which is a bit better than the Sony Tablet P's global score of 55.7. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has 5.0 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, giving you some nice extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 construction is much newer, lighter and incredibly thinner than the Sony Tablet P.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's CPU is very similar to Sony Tablet P's CPU, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a bit sharper screen than Sony Tablet P, because although it has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and a way bigger display.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has just a bit better camera than Sony Tablet P. Both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 128 GB and more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a way better battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a lot cheaper.
