Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has an overall score of 64.9, which is better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer tablet device, and it is also incredibly thinner and just a bit lighter than the Sony Tablet P. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, providing the user a couple additional features.

The Sony Tablet P counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a much smaller screen and a much lower 480 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better screen density. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Tablet P, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has just a little better performance than Sony Tablet P, because it has 512 MB more RAM and 2 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Tablet P. They have the same 1280x720 video quality, the same video frame rate and a 5 MP resolution camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 62% greater battery size.
