Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 is much better than Sony Tablet P, having a overall score of 65.3 against 55.7. These tablets include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy View 2 has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3, offering some nice extra features and increased performance. Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a much newer tablet than Sony Tablet P, although it's thicker and incredibly heavier.
Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a superior processing unit than Sony Tablet P, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more processing cores. The Sony Tablet P has a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot lower 480 x 1024 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot better display pixels density.
The Sony Tablet P captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy View 2. Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy View 2 counts with a superior battery duration than Sony Tablet P, because it has a 290% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Sony Tablet P, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Tablet P. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Sony Tablet P, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
