Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet S has a general score of 58.9, which is slightly better than the Sony Tablet P's 55.7 general score. Even though the Xperia Tablet S is heavier than the Sony Tablet P, it's thinner and also newer. Both tablets we are comparing work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia Tablet S has 4.1.1 version while Sony Tablet P has Android 4.0.3 version, so it counts with some nice extra features.

Sony Tablet P features a slightly better looking display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a way worse resolution of 480 x 1024px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel count in each screen inch. The Xperia Tablet S counts with much more storage to store more apps and games than Sony Tablet P, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.

Xperia Tablet S features a greater performance than Sony Tablet P, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia Tablet S also has an extra graphics processing unit and more cpu cores. The Xperia Tablet S and Sony Tablet P feature incredibly similar cameras, although the Xperia Tablet S also has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.

The Sony Tablet P counts with a superior battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet S.

Xperia Tablet S costs more money than the Sony Tablet P, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
