Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a general score of 60.1, which is a little bit better than Sony Tablet S's 56.3 global score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a more recent 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0, giving you some nice extra features and performance improvements. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 construction is a lot newer, a lot lighter and much thinner than Sony Tablet S.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little bit more memory to store more games and applications than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a better CPU than Sony Tablet S, because it has more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Sony Tablet S features a way better battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Sony Tablet S takes better videos and photos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back camera and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Asus MeMO Pad 8 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
