The LG G Pad 8.0 is a little bit better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a 58.6 score against 57.5. The LG G Pad 8.0 is a a little bit thinner and incredibly lighter portable tablet than the Sony Tablet S. These tablets include Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, offering a lot of extra features.

LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit superior processing unit than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a greater number of faster cores. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a just a bit higher display density.

Sony Tablet S features a bigger memory to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that allows up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory. Sony Tablet S features longer battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.

The Sony Tablet S captures much clearer pictures and videos than LG G Pad 8.0. They have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 video definition and a same resolution camera.
