Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a general score of 60.4, which is a bit better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 general score. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has the older 3.2 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Even when the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition and the Sony Tablet S were released with only 6 months difference, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is somewhat thinner and notably lighter.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a little bit better processing power than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have 2 cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has an additional graphics processor.
