The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than Sony Tablet S, getting a overall score of 61.4 against 57.5. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has 4.1 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a newer device, and it is also just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than the Sony Tablet S.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s processor is just as good as Sony Tablet S's processor, both have 1 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Sony Tablet S has just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Sony Tablet S also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Sony Tablet S takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Tablet S also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution camera. The Sony Tablet S has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
