Comparison review
The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is better than the Acer Iconia W511, having a general score of 66 against 59.5. These tablets come with Windows OS, but the Sony Vaio Tap 11 has an older 8 version and Acer Iconia W511 has Windows 8 Pro version. Despite being the best portable tablet we are comparing here, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a heavier and somewhat thicker portable tablet than the Acer Iconia W511.
Acer Iconia W511 features a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 2 CPU cores. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a little sharper screen than Acer Iconia W511, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little bit larger display.
Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Acer Iconia W511, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. Sony Vaio Tap 11 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W511, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
Acer Iconia W511 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11. Both of them have a 8 mega-pixels camera.
Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W511, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W511. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Vaio Tap 11, else you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W511, giving up some specifications.
