Comparison review

Sony Vaio Tap 11 is much better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a global score of 66 against 57.5. These devices have the same Windows 8 operating system, so both should offer very similar operating system features. Although it's the best tablet in this review, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 body is thicker and heavier than Asus VivoTab.

The Asus VivoTab counts with a bit better hardware performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much better screen than Asus VivoTab, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a greater display density.

Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a much better memory for games and applications than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Asus VivoTab counts with a much better camera than Sony Vaio Tap 11. Both of them have a camera with an 8 MP resolution.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus VivoTab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Vaio Tap 11, else you can save some dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab, resigning some specs and features.
