The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is better than Dell Venue 8 Pro, getting a general score of 66 against 59.6. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 design is noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Dell Venue 8 Pro. Both tablets in this review use Windows OS (Operating System), but the Sony Vaio Tap 11 has the previous 8 version and Dell Venue 8 Pro has Windows 8.1 Pro.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 and the Dell Venue 8 Pro feature incredibly similar displays, although the Dell Venue 8 Pro has a much smaller display, a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a bit more powerful processor than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores.

Dell Venue 8 Pro features a slightly better camera than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a much lower 5 MP resolution back camera. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has just a bit more memory for games and applications than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with longer battery duration than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has a 4830mAh battery capacity.
