Sony Vaio Tap 11 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), having a 66 score against 61.4. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8 OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 OS. Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a a little thicker and incredibly heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920, a greater pixels count in each display inch and a bit bigger display. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has more RAM.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a camera in the back with a way lower 3 mega-pixels resolution. Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 3800mAh.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
