Sony Vaio Tap 11 has an overall score of 66, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 score. Even being the best tablet device in this comparison, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 body is extremely heavier and incredibly thicker than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8 OS, and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a little bit better looking display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a much lower pixel count per inch of screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a really larger display. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit better hardware performance than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of 1500 megahertz cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features superior battery life than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because it has a 34% more battery size.

Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes much clearer photos and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11. They have a back camera with an 8 megapixels resolution.
