Comparison review

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a little bit better than the Xperia Tablet S, having a global score of 60.1 against 56.1. Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also incredibly lighter and much thinner than Xperia Tablet S. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has newer 4.4 version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, so it gives a lot of extra features.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little better hardware performance than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with more RAM memory. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia Tablet S also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a battery duration that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Xperia Tablet S.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes clearer pictures and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a much lower resolution back camera.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Asus MeMO Pad 8 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets, which makes it an easy decision.
