The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a little bit better than the Xperia Tablet S, having a global score of 60.1 against 56.1. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution.
Xperia Tablet S counts with a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia Tablet S also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a battery duration that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Xperia Tablet S.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 takes clearer pictures and videos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a much lower resolution back camera.
