Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is just a bit better than Xperia Tablet S, getting a 60.8 score against 58.9. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the newer 4.2.2 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, giving some additional features and some performance improvements. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a newer tablet, and it is also extremely thinner and lighter than the Xperia Tablet S.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little better performance than Sony Xperia Tablet S, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a much better GPU working at 450 megahertz and 1 GB more RAM. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features an incredibly better display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater number of pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920.

Xperia Tablet S captures way better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Sony Xperia Tablet S has a much greater memory for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Xperia Tablet S both feature incredibly similar batteries performance.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is not only the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
