Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet S is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a 58.9 score against 57.5. The Sony Xperia Tablet S comes with Android 4.1.1 OS, and Asus VivoTab counts with Windows 8 OS. Sony Xperia Tablet S's construction is lighter but extremely thicker than the Asus VivoTab, and both of them were released only 3 months apart.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a slightly better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite greater pixel number per display inch. Sony Xperia Tablet S has a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab. They have exactly the same internal memory capacity.

The Asus VivoTab features just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has 2 lesser cores , it also counts with a better graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Asus VivoTab's battery life is just as good as the Sony Xperia Tablet S one.

Asus VivoTab features just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both of them have a same resolution back facing camera.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Xperia Tablet S is also the cheapest, which makes it a very good choice.
