Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet S is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 10.1, with a 58.9 score against 58.4. The Sony Xperia Tablet S construction is heavier and a lot thicker than LG G Pad 10.1. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia Tablet S has 4.1.1 version and LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0.

Xperia Tablet S counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G Pad 10.1, although it has a slower GPU running at 416 megahertz, they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Quad-Core processor. The Sony Xperia Tablet S features just a bit better display than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also counts with a just a little higher screen pixels density.

Sony Xperia Tablet S has a very superior storage to install applications and games than LG G Pad 10.1, because it has 48 GB more internal memory capacity. The LG G Pad 10.1 features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet S. Xperia Tablet S and LG G Pad 10.1 feature extremely similar cameras, although the LG G Pad 10.1 has a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it is more expensive than LG G Pad 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 10.1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia Tablet S, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 10.1, giving up a couple specs and features.
