Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, getting a 60.8 score against 58.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is an older tablet than Sony Xperia Tablet S, but Samsung was able to make it notably lighter and thinner. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the newer 4.1.2 version while Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, providing the user a couple additional features and better performance.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Xperia Tablet S both feature extremely similar screens, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a lot smaller display and a way lower 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a little bit better number of pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia Tablet S has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Tablet S also has an extra graphics co-processor and a larger number of cores.

The Sony Xperia Tablet S has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a lot better resolution camera. The Xperia Tablet S counts with a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia Tablet S.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Tablet S. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia Tablet S, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
