Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet S has a general score of 58.9, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 score. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS, but Xperia Tablet S has 4.1.1 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, giving you some extra features. Although the Xperia Tablet S is newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's extremely thicker and extremely heavier.

Xperia Tablet S has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor. Sony Xperia Tablet S has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a lot more megapixels camera.
