Sony Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 general score. Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with Android 4.4.4 OS, while Acer Iconia W510 comes with Windows 8 OS. Even though the Sony Xperia Tablet Z and Acer Iconia W510 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z is extremely thinner and lighter.
The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a more vivid screen than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 and more pixels per inch of display. The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a little bit better performance than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a worse graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia Tablet Z also counts with 2 more 1.5 gigahertz processing cores.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z captures slightly better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a more MP back-facing camera. If you want to save some money, you can get the Acer Iconia W510, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
