The iPad Air 2 has a score of 79.3, which is better than the Xperia Tablet Z's 68.5 global score. IPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4 operating system. IPad Air 2's construction is newer, thinner and lighter than Xperia Tablet Z. The Apple iPad Air 2 has a bit sharper display than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixels amount per inch of display and a little higher resolution of 2048 x 1536.
