The Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is better than the Asus Fonepad Note 6's 58.7 overall score. Xperia Tablet Z is a way heavier but thinner tablet than Asus Fonepad Note 6. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Asus Fonepad Note 6 has Android 4.4, so it offers lots of additional features.
The Xperia Tablet Z has a bit faster processor than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a higher number of cores and a graphics processor. Asus Fonepad Note 6 features a better display than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater display pixels density.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has more internal storage. Xperia Tablet Z captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a way better battery performance than Asus Fonepad Note 6.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad Note 6. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia Tablet Z, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus Fonepad Note 6, resigning a couple features and specifications.
