Comparison review
Xperia Tablet Z is slightly better than Google Nexus 10, with a general score of 68.5 against 68.1. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet Z has an older 4.4.4 version while Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1. The Xperia Tablet Z is a thinner and somewhat lighter tablet than the Google Nexus 10, although they were only released 3 months apart.
Xperia Tablet Z features a bit superior processor than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Xperia Tablet Z also has an extra graphics processor and 2 more processing cores. The Google Nexus 10 features just a bit better display than Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Google Nexus 10 also has a greater count of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
Google Nexus 10 features a slightly better camera than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a lower video quality and a camera in the back with lot less MP resolution. The Xperia Tablet Z has a much better memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB.
The Google Nexus 10 has a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Nexus 10. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Google Nexus 10, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
