Comparison review
Sony Xperia Tablet Z is slightly better than HTC Jetstream, getting a 68.5 score against 63.6. Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a newer device, and it's also incredibly lighter and incredibly thinner than the HTC Jetstream. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a more recent 4.4.4 version while HTC Jetstream has Android 3.1, providing a couple additional features and performance improvements.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a brighter display than HTC Jetstream, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a way higher number of pixels per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Xperia Tablet Z features just a little better performance than HTC Jetstream, because it has a greater amount of RAM, a much better GPU and 2 more 1.5 GHz processing cores.
HTC Jetstream has a better camera than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a less mega-pixels back-facing camera and a lower 1920x1080 video quality. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than HTC Jetstream, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
HTC Jetstream features superior battery lifetime than Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a 22% larger battery capacity.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC Jetstream, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC Jetstream. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the HTC Jetstream, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
