Sony Xperia Tablet Z is better than the LG G Pad 10.1, with a 68.5 score against 58.4. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the older 4.4.4 version and LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0. Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a a little bit lighter and way thinner tablet device than the LG G Pad 10.1.

The Xperia Tablet Z counts with a sharper screen than LG G Pad 10.1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has way more pixels per inch in the display and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution. Xperia Tablet Z has a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 10.1, because it has more internal storage capacity.

The Xperia Tablet Z features a little better hardware performance than LG G Pad 10.1, because although it has a worse graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Xperia Tablet Z also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a better camera than LG G Pad 10.1, because it has a way more mega-pixels camera.

The LG G Pad 10.1 counts with better battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has an 8000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 10.1, letting go a couple specs and features.
