Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's global score of 65.5. The Xperia Tablet Z body is newer, notably thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 version, giving a lot of extra features.

The Xperia Tablet Z has a sharper screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have a same size display, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a lot higher pixels density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a little bit better performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a worse graphics co-processor running at 400 MHz, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster). The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with better battery performance than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 6000mAh.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 captures better photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 5 MP resolution and a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition.

Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
