Comparison review

Xperia Tablet Z is much better than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, getting a 68.5 score against 60.4. Xperia Tablet Z's construction is newer and way thinner than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's, but it's also notably heavier. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2, so it provides a couple additional features and performance enhancements.

The Xperia Tablet Z features a little sharper screen than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a bigger screen. Xperia Tablet Z has a bit better processing unit than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 1 GB more RAM, a higher number of cores and a faster graphics processor running at 400 megahertz.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a slightly better camera than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a back camera with much less MP resolution. Xperia Tablet Z has a superior memory for games and applications than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
