The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab, with a 68.5 score against 58.6. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a newer and much thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, although it's also noticeably heavier. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it provides you a couple additional features and better performance.
The Xperia Tablet Z has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, more pixels per screen inch and a much bigger screen. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab. They have the same internal storage.
Xperia Tablet Z counts with a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of faster cores, an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM. Xperia Tablet Z shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and a much better 1920x1080 video definition.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 50% more battery size.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab.
