Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a general score of 73.9, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Tablet Z's 67.2 global score. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Sony Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.2.2, counting with some extra features. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a newer and a lot lighter tablet device than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, but it is also a bit thicker.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more vivid screen than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a way higher screen pixels density. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a much better graphics processor working at 450 MHz.

The Xperia Tablet Z and the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 count with quite similar storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both have the same internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that supports up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a lesser mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.

Xperia Tablet Z counts with superior battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an easy decision.
