Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has an overall score of 79.3, which is much better than the Xperia Z2 Tablet's overall score of 69.8. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, and Xperia Z2 Tablet comes with Android 4.4.4 operating system. The Google Pixel Slate design is noticeably newer than Xperia Z2 Tablet's, but it's noticeably heavier and thicker.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU and a larger number of faster cores. Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a little bit better display than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a just a bit lower screen pixel density, a way lower 1200 x 1920px resolution and a little smaller screen.
Google Pixel Slate features a very superior camera than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video definition and a worse 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a way better battery performance than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z2 Tablet. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z2 Tablet, resigning some features and specifications.
