The Huawei MediaPad X2 is just a bit better than Xperia Z2 Tablet, with a general score of 72.7 against 69.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has newer 5.0 version while Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4 version, so it gives some nice extra features. The Huawei MediaPad X2 design is newer and incredibly lighter, but thicker than the Xperia Z2 Tablet.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a brighter display than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a higher pixel density. Huawei MediaPad X2 has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a little faster processing unit than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and more cores. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels.
Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z2 Tablet. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
