The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has 16 GB more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also has an additional graphics co-processor and a larger amount of RAM. The Xperia Z2 Tablet features better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is also a bit cheaper, making this tablet a very good choice.
