The iPad mini 3 has a general score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's global score of 71.3. The iPad mini 3 is a better tablet than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, we must tell that it's also a notably heavier and somewhat thicker tablet. IPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x OS, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes with Android 4.4 OS.
The iPad mini 3 features a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Apple iPad mini 3 has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.
The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact features a bit better hardware performance than iPad mini 3, because although it has a 32-bit processing unit against 64-bits and a weaker graphics processing unit running at 450 megahertz, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM memory.
