Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is better than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, getting a 79.3 score against 71.3. The Google Pixel Slate body is a lot newer than the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's, but it is notably heavier and thicker. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has Android 4.4 operating system.
The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a quite superior processing power than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an additional graphics processor. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a little sharper display than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a lot smaller display, a quite worse screen density and a lot worse 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution.
The Google Pixel Slate features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a really longer battery life than Google Pixel Slate.
Google Pixel Slate has a better camera than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has a lesser megapixels resolution back facing camera and a worse (Full HD) video resolution, it also counts with a way larger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, resigning some specs and features.
