Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a general score of 73.3, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's score of 71.3. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has 8.0 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has Android 4.4, providing some nice extra features. Even though the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is incredibly newer than the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, it's much heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact features a more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1200 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact also counts with more pixels per inch of screen. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's processor is just as good as Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's CPU, because although the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores (although they are slower).
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has 7500mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's camera is very similar to the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact one, although the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a back-facing camera with a lower 8 megapixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a better device, it is more expensive than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, resigning a couple features and specifications.
